The easiest and most affordable way to travel from Bilbao Airport (Loiu) to Donostia (San Sebastián) is by direct bus. The journey takes approximately 75 minutes and drops you off in the city center, near the main train and bus station.
The bus stop is located just outside the airport—exit the terminal and look to your right. The service is operated by PESA.
Buses run hourly from 07:45 to 23:45 from the airport. Return buses from San Sebastián to Bilbao Airport depart on the hour between 05:00 and 21:00.
A one-way ticket costs €17.10.

Around Town
San Sebastian is a very walkable town, so make sure you bring some good walkin shoes!
While there is plenty to explore in San Sebastian, if you are hoping to get around to other towns, most are accessible by bus.If there is a certain destination you are hoping to visit, you may need to rent a car to do so.
